The Tickell Arms (formerly The Waggon & Horses)

Public House. Possibly late 17th Century, rebuilt late 18th Century. Timber-framed and plastered. Steeply pitched slated roofs with red brick end stacks partly painted. Two storeys. L-plan to left hand with outshut symmetrical three 'bay' facade. Stuccoed doorway with ogee-arched double doors with margin glazing bars and shaped cornice hood with console bracdks and dentil enrichment. Four-centred arched two-light casement windows above entrance and two first floor and two ground floor three-light casement windows with oval patterned glazing bars.
