Training House of St Andrew's, Training House for Ordinands which was operated in The Vicarage between 1933 and 1943. The Rev. Charles Sherwood being Warden. The names of many of the students are recorded as Officiants and Preachers in the Church Service Register.
'The Chapel was sited where the garages of the Vicarage Flats stood. (Refer to photographs of D Ingram). It was taken down during the interregnum following the death of the Rev. Philip Butterfield. It was not known what became of its furnishings, presumably they went to Pampisford Vicarage when the Training was moved there'.
